Olwynne Cade – Convenor
ABOUT THE WRITERS CAMP – What will we be doing for the weekend?
I have had a question from an interested participant.
She asked – “How good a writer do I have to be?”
This is not about how good or bad you are at writing.
It’s about having fun writing and sharing with other like minded people who want to get away from everyday life and put pen to paper.
No one is judging what or how you write.
There will be times throughout the weekend where we will be working together using writing prompts, talking about ideas, sharing our experiences,
among other insights that I will offer you to help you get into writing mode.
As well as time alone with your pen and paper.
Meditation and reflection will be a part of the weekend as well.
A Writers' Camp, is an invitation to come to our beautiful home in Tuahiwi North Canterbury and write, meditate, create, daydream, share and discover the storyteller within.
A Writers' Camp will be a voyage of inner discovery; a journey to the very depths of our being.
It's about making discoveries filled with excitement, joy and enlightenment.
Take out your pen and paper and come along.
You will be in awe at what you discover and how it feels to connect to your creative self through writing.
About Olwynne
I have spent a great deal of my adult life working in the theatre as Producer/Director/Writer/Choreographer.
In 2005 I trained as a Life Coach, although I had been coaching for many years before completing formal training.
As a script writer I always looked at people and events for material to create, shape and develop the tales that dressed my stage.
Throughout my journey of self discovery, I developed a love for creative writing and journaling, which were two of the most productive tools in my toolbox.
As well as writing as an expression of my creativity I have been able to channel information from spirit, past life memories, ideas for business opportunities and inspirational messages that have changed not only my life but the lives of others.
The past nine years I have channelled this creativity into helping people through their time of loss as a funeral celebrant, listening to and writing life their life stories as well as the Publisher/Editor of Soul Quisine. I also have to manuscripts that are a various stages in their creation. The journey continues.
