A Spiritual Way of Life with Olwynne Cade

The first insight on courage came through a coaching/channelling session with a client of mine and the second, about faith, I wrote for a Christmas memorial service.

Insights and wisdom come through in many ways and spirit choose whatever means they can to share with us ways to understand that life goes on beyond what we call death, and that faith is not something we have to wrap up in robes and religious paraphenalia.  It is as basic and awakening each day to the magnificence that is our life and the beauty and enormity of the universe that we live in.

‘The Master’, on Courage

“Courage is standing quietly and in stillness, when all around you is falling apart. And bombs are falling, bullets are flying, the air is filled with smoke and fear. Courage is about standing there and saying, what will come will come and I am ok.”

“And when you open your eyes you will either be in spirit or you will be still be standing; which ever way you are alright. Do you know what I mean? Whichever way you are still ok.  You are not gone; all is not lost, you just changed your mind, changed your form.  To stand in the face of all this with courage and quietness, dignity, grace and love and know you will not fall.”   Channelled by Olwynne Cade June 2008

‘Olwynne’ on Faith

“When I think of great faith and courage I always think of the caterpillar. It must have great faith in life and death to allow it to be completely transformed from the only thing it knows how to be, into a glorious butterfly.

And so it is with death, when we must let go of all that we know at that time and allow ourselves to be transformed. A transformation takes place when we experience the loss of special people in our lives. We can no longer go back to being the way we were before. Our lives are changed irrevocably forever and whether we have faith in anything at all we all instinctively know that we must carry on.

So even if we think we do not have faith in anything then we have the assurance of knowing that the sun will rise and set no matter what happens around us and that life does go on. That requires faith – to let go of something so fundamental to our existence here on earth and know that it will happen without us having to do anything at all – except just be.” Olwynne Cade 2004
